Bartoletti, of Northern Italy, with his Italian confidence and grace, has always had a passion for food and wine. He attended culinary school in Stresa, Italy, then found his way to London, where he learned much about food and restaurant life while working at Michael Caine’s Langan’s Brasserie. In 1997 he made his way to San Francisco and worked in some of the finest Italian restaurants from Noe Valley to North Beach.
In 2012, Gianni and Melanie Bartoletti launched Giannis Italian Bistro of San Ramon. The Bistro is family owned and operated and offers some of the finest Italian food in the valley.
